Insane Old Holden In the event that you truly need to find out about it, there is alot of imagery in Catcher in the Rye. This epic, composed by J.D. Salinger, uses images to depict various subjects. Of these images there are three that are firmly identified with Holden. The activity, being a maniac, and venturing of a control all assume a fundamental job in the novel by J.D. Salinger. Holden is an upset person. Each since the demise of his younger sibling, Allie, he has been going insane. Holden even depicts himself as a psycho. Holden discussed being a crazy person while he was conversing with the taxi driver. Holden asked where the ducks went when the climate got cold. The taxi driver thought this was a bizarre inquiry and turned around to take a gander at Holden like he was â€Å"a madman† (60). The cabby imagined that it was a preposterous inquiry since everybody realized that the ducks went south for the winter. That is the reason the taxi drive pivoted to take a gander at Holden like he was insane. Another case where Holden referenced the psycho was while conversing with Bright, the whore. Bright came to Holden’s place since he needed to engage in sexual relations with her. Rather, Holden didn’t need to engage in sexual relations, however he needed to talk.
